Screen Reader List Test

Preamble

The issue has been raised as to how JAWS handles numbered (ordered) lists on web pages - specifically if it will attempt to render Roman numerals phonetically when lists have been styled using CSS.

This page is intended to test screen reader behaviour with numbered lists that have been styled using CSS. If you think I have missed a particular scenario, please let me know and I will try to add your suggestion(s) to an extended test suite as soon as possible.

If you have tested this page using a screen reader, please send me your feedback either by emailing me directly or by using the ratings following each list and then submitting your comments. In each case, please rate the list's usability within your screen reader using the numbers 1 through 4 where 4 is "Highly accessible" and 1 is "Dreadful!".
